VET Solutions Omega-3 Fatty Acids
VET Solutions Omega-3 Fatty Acid supplements contain omega-3 fatty acids
derived from fish oil. These fatty acids help decrease allergy related itchiness
in the skin by interfering with production of the inflammatory substances that
cause the itching. The omega-3 fatty acids in VET Solutions Omega-3 Fatty Acids
supplements, EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), are
found only in cold water fish and are not commonly used to make dog food. Other
omega fatty acids such as omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids are plentiful in dog
food and do not, therefore, need to be supplemented. In fact, the presence of
too many omega-6 fatty acids may actually promote inflammation. VET Solutions
Omega-3 Fatty Acid supplements contain high quality fish oil which meets or
exceeds label claims for purity, strength, quality, and identity. Our Omega-3
Fatty Acid supplements also contain vitamins A and E, antioxidants which help
decrease free radical damage caused by inflammation.
DESCRIPTION: Omega-3 Fatty Acid Capsules contain a concentrated source
of omega-3 fatty acids supplemented with vitamins A, D and E.
INDICATIONS: A supplementary source of Omega-3 Fatty acids where
dietary intake is inadequate or when the skin and coat condition indicate that
supplementation would be of benefit to the animal.
DIRECTIONS: Administer supplement to pet's food once per day.
8-19 lbs: 1/2 pump
20-39 lbs: 1 pump
40-59 lbs: 2 pumps
60-79 lbs: 3 pumps
80-100 lbs: 4 pumps
Each pump contains 1 ml.
